Adult Lesson Academy

The Sycamore Golf Club Adult Group Lesson Academy has been developed for both men and women who are at the beginner or intermediate level.  The academy consists of four, 45-minute sessions held on Wednesday and Thursday late afternoons and early evenings for a period of two weeks.  Classes have a maximum of 8 students and a minimum of four students.  Participants learn all aspects of the game including full swing, chipping, putting, course management and etiquette.  Players who do not have clubs will be able to use clubs provided by Sycamore Golf Club for the duration of the class.  The fee for the series of 4, 45-minute lessons is $165.00 which includes range balls, use of equipment, and instruction.  Registration will only be accepted at Sycamore Golf Club.  No mail registration through brochures will be accepted.

Registration begins Monday, May 16 at 8:00 A.M. Registration will be accepted in person, as well as over the phone by calling 815-895-3884.

Series 1

June 15, 16 and June 22, 23
Beginners – 5:30 PM and 6:15 PM
Intermediates – 6:30 PM and 7:15 PM

Series 2

July, 13, 14 and July 20, 21
Beginners – 5:30 PM and 6:15 PM
Intermediates – 6:30 PM and 7:15 PM

All classes will be held at Sycamore Family Sports Center or a Sycamore Golf Club Property.  Any classes postponed due to weather will be made up either in the group format or individually.  If all classes fill other dates and times will be added to make more series available.  Any groups wishing to set up their own group lesson times may do so with Kirk Lundbeck, PGA Head Professional.  These additional sessions will be based upon the student’s and the instructor’s availability.
